James Henley
James served in the U.S. Army from 1988 to 1996. He now works at a VA hospital and leads A Veterans Peace Foundation. His own experiences navigating veterans benefits helped inspire his commitment to helping other veterans feel supported and connected.
Co-host
Jaquel Whitaker
Jaquel enlisted in 2021 and serves in the Louisiana Army National Guard as an 88M Motor Transport Operator. He deployed to Kuwait in 2024–2025 and brings a younger service member’s perspective on deployment, returning home, and learning to navigate the VA process.
